Verdict

The unbeaten MONBEG WORLDWIDE followed his victory in a point-to-point and a Roscommon bumper with a hard-fought success over Quick Grabim on heavy going at Cork in November. He was conceding 7lb to Robbie McNamara's charge, who won subsequently, so should continue his sequence. Jamie Codd, who rode him to the second of those victories, is on board Balkalin here and his mount showed plenty of potential in two strong bumpers last spring. Scheu Time followed a narrow defeat at Exeter in October with a moderate effort at Leopardstown while Kosovo was beaten a distance on his opening run at Thurles and Ask Me Later pulled up on her debut between the flags at Ballinaboola.
