Verdict

EDDYSTONE ROCK (NAP) had been unfortunate not to have lost his maiden tag before finally doing so with a comprehensive victory at Wexford. He looks the type to make further progress and can complete a double. Castle Guest has won six times on the level and started a short-priced favourite in a huge field of hurdlers at Punchestown a fortnight ago. He ran well enough to finish second there and has to be a threat from this sort of mark. Ringside Humour just found 1m4f on ground with some give stretching her stamina at the Curragh and Jim Bolger's consistent filly should get into the mix once again. The Ice Meister makes a quick reappearance after finishing mid-division at Gowran on Wednesday where he didn't get the run of the race and though it's over a year since Bold Thady Quill last won he's been competing at a higher level than this.
