Verdict

MARIE DES ANGES was a wide-margin winner at Wetherby last month and has won two of her three starts over fences this season. She probably wouldn't want the ground to get any quicker but is the one to beat here. Red Rouble would have an excellent chance on the form he showed before the turn of the year but Border Station's recent good form has been in jumpers' bumpers and he's shown little over fences so far. It's also difficult to make a case for Prolinx and Miss Tenacious.
