Verdict

Arturo Uno has been placed in eight of his 13 career starts over fences but always seems to find at least one too good and that may be the case again today, though he still makes more appeal than stablemate My Boy Paddy. Gandalfe needs some help from the handicapper but Minella Stars should improve on his third at Exeter and Sandofthecolosseum was a promising second at Wetherby last month. PENNY MAX didn't enjoy himself on his chasing debut at Plumpton and will be much better suited to this galloping track. He remains a novice of some potential and can get off the mark here, despite the fact that Very Stylish and Wyck Hill have already won over the larger obstacles.
