The second division of this maiden may prove a little weaker than the first though there are still a few potentially nice types due to face the starter. Colombian was third on his debut over 7f here in September while General Synod will be out to recoup losses incurred when he was sent off favourite at Sandown on his second start. Red Inca hinted at ability here on his debut but a couple of newcomers catch the eye on breeding. Strategic Bid, a late withdrawal from Thursday's Wood Ditton Stakes, is a son of Selkirk but will surely improve as he steps up in trip so the vote goes to VOODOO PRINCE. Ed Dunlop's colt is classically bred, by Kingmambo out of the brilliant Ouija Board, and market support would increase confidence that he's forward enough to do himself justice.
