The Pretender looked very one-paced when second at Sandown and Magic Prospect found a higher mark too much at Sandown last time but gets on well with Gavin Sheehan in general and could easily bounce back, though it's difficult to be as confident over Parsnip Pete who was pulled up when favourite over this trip at Sandown last time and appears to have two ways of running. Midnight Tuesday may need more time but Dark Shadow wasn't winning out of turn at Ludlow and stays this longer trip. MARSHAL ZHUKOV weakened approaching the last at Fontwell last month having travelled strongly to that point. That was his first race for three months and only his third over hurdles so he's open to improvement and could take all the beating today.
