In depth

Verdict

Chase The Wind was only beaten a length-and-a-quarter by the useful Vieux Lion Rouge over a shorter trip here on his debut and has to go on the short-list for this. But FABRIKA showed a nice turn of foot to land a slowly-run mares' race over course and distance just over three weeks ago and should take all the beating with further improvement likely. Reddy Tobouggie ran a nice race at Warwick in January and should also be thereabouts but Alan King runs three with Doncaster runner-up Wilde Blue Yonder looking the pick on jockey bookings. Meadowcroft Boy has more to do than when winning at Newcastle but Glingerburn and Honour A promise are worth noting for future reference.
