Verdict

MYTHICAL MAGIC never figured in a Group 1 race over a mile at Chantilly last time. But he went close in the Champagne Stakes over today’s trip at Doncaster before that and gets the nod to confirm running with Dream Today. The latter has subsequently run well in the Autumn Stakes at Newmarket and should be in the mix again along with Nebo, placed in the Mill Reef here before finishing second in France. Tangled has a shout at the weights though finished behind Alba Power in a sales race at Doncaster last month. Vintager and Archie Mckellar have plenty to find on these terms.
