Verdict

Desert Frost made a winning start last year but hasn’t raced since May and is conceding plenty of weight to the three-year-olds. The latter group includes course and distance winner Bold Reason, having his first start since December, but TANSEEQ has a pipe-opener at Chelmsford under his belt. The Haggas colt won at Kempton last term and should have the edge on these terms. Gabrial The Saint was thereabouts in both starts over shorter trips last year and may prove best of the remainder.
