Verdict

As opposed to the previous division, three of these made their respective debuts on soft going. Stretchworth finished a promising third here when not far behind Pretzel. The latter is trained by Roger Varian and he runs IDDER, who only faded close home to finish fourth over a mile at Nottingham on his first start. He gets the vote ahead of Haydock fifth Framed Masterpiece, although Zee Zeely finished a lot closer to the winner when occupying the same finishing position on the Polytrack and he could also figure. Pantoloni and Warbrook stand out as the most noteworthy among the newcomers.
