Verdict

A sprint restricted to grey horses so most of these have taken part before. Crew Cut won this last year beating Light From Mars, Baby Strange and Rylee Mooch with Enderby Spirit and Medici Time further behind. However, the latter had also beaten several of the above when landing this in 2012. It could pay to look outside the usual suspects and go with the progressive three-year-old SYRIAN PEARL. She went within a nose of defying a 9lb rise at Doncaster last time having recorded a hat-trick before that. Lady Horatia is another looking to get the better of the older sprinters and went very close over track and trip last month.
