Verdict

Society Shock is penalised for a narrow-margin success at Goodwood last month sand the runner-up has been beaten since so HAPPY ODYSSEY is taken to make the most of the weight concession. Amy Murphy’s filly picked up well in the closing stages to finish second over 5f at Lingfield and this extra distance will suit on that evidence. Gunforhire failed to show any improvement at Leicester but Ryan Moore takes over the reins today while Swiss Peak also disappointed at Carlisle last time. Fox Coach is related to a couple of winning sprinters and may prove best of the newcomers ahead of Strawberry Jack.
