Verdict

It was soft ground at Newbury when DARK POWER made his debut and finished runner-up over today’s trip. Clive Cox’s colt is taken to go one better in this with the likes of Pillar Of Society and Ode To Paris dropping back down in trip after modest efforts over 7f. Arnold needs to improve to match the selection but Dream Reversion is a half-brother to no less than 10 winners, including French 2000 Guineas winner Aussie Rules, and makes more appeal of the newcomers than Harvest Moon and Katie's Surprise.
