Verdict

An interesting contest revolving around whether Atlanta Falcon, highly impressive in landing two British bumpers, can return to the form of which he's capable after a disappointing hurdles debut in his homeland. Backed into favouritism, he only managed sixth place beaten over 20 lengths. Whilst it would not surprise to see him put things right here, JIVE MASTER is taken to make a winning debut over timber after rattling up a bumper hat-trick. He was made to work harder last time but knuckled down well and can continue his winning spree. It might seem late for Gordonsville to take up hurdling seriously but he's been a fine servant for Jim Goldie and remains a useful Flat performer. He's of interest if translating his ability to this discipline.
