In depth

Verdict

Trendelenburg only ran at Ballinrobe on Monday evening and may find this coming too quickly. Bescot Springs, on the other hand, returns from a lengthy absence. Carrietau is better over shorter trips but Tasheba stays well and has been showing up well in novice company. He can reverse Hereford running with Stonethrower on much better terms and is preferred to Blazin White Face, who tries 3m for the first time. NODFORMS VIOLET ran Calusa Caldera to a neck over 2m7f at Worcester four weeks ago and has been much improved lately. He can race off the same mark here and can go one better, though Sun Tzu could figure if he's been refreshed by a short break.
