Shalimar Fromentro is an intriguing entry from Nick Williams as he finished first past the post in a similar event at Auteuil in November only to be relegated to second. Arabella Boy pulled up in the Irish National but had plenty of strong form previously though this trip and track are complete unknowns. Uncle Junior will have no problem with either and might well have won the cross country handicap at Cheltenham in December but for taking the wrong course having won a similar contest there a month earlier. He was well beaten at The Festival along with Double Dizzy but Tally Em Up ran very well to finish fifth and gets all the allowances. Outlaw Pete started favourite for this last year but ran moderately though the firm ground was against him while Shakervilz, another who pulled up in the Irish National, has generally competed at a much higher level and is on the short-list. Paul Carberry's presence on SADDLERS STORM could swing this the way of Tony Martin's charge , who also pulled up at Fairyhouse, but had been in good form previously including when just over a length behind Grand National third Seabass between the flags at Ballinaboola in November.
