In depth

Verdict

The Hannon-team has farmed this claimer in recent years, winning five of the last seven renewals, and DAUNT has the best form of today's competitors. He faded badly in the closing stages of his reappearance run at Kempton but his placed efforts on the Turf last year make him the one to beat here. Marah Music has gone backwards since his best effort at Newbury in September and Barbarella Blue looks a bigger threat on her earlier third at Kempton. It's difficult to make any sort of case for the remainder.
