    Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has won this twice in the last five years and FORGE can enhance his record. Too green to do himself justice last year, he came clear on the bridle on his reappearance at Doncaster and looks a smart prospect. Royal Artillery was very impressive at Doncaster in October in a race that's worked out well. He cost 450,000gns and is another expected to hold his own in pattern race company this season. Zonderland wasn't disgraced when sixth in the 2000 Guineas and should be winning again soon while Cymric may not have stayed 1m2f at Newmarket last month though, like Atlantic Sun and Palawan, looks thoroughly exposed.
