Verdict

LORD NAPIER confirmed the promise of his Kelso debut when quickening from the last to score at Ludlow. This looks a less competitive affair and Peter Bowen’s unexposed novice should be capable of defying his penalty. Emerald Chieftan and Ask Jd are recruits from the point-to-pint circuit making their debuts under Rules. They are probably best watched on this occasions and Phantom Isle will need to improve on his fourth over a shorter trip here last month.
