Verdict

No signs of recent winning form in this contest, but JONNIE SKULL did manage to finish in a place over 6f here last week. Phil McEntee's charge was winning over C&D off a 10lb higher mark at this time last year and he may be up to taking this. St Ignatius could figure judged on his second at Kempton on his penultimate start, while the old stager Norcroft can still make the frame on occasions. Angelena Ballerina may do better dropping back in trip but it's difficult to make a case for any of the remainder.
