Verdict

This has been run three times and Jessica Harrington has won it twice. English Pale represents the yard this time and he would have a chance on his third place here last month but that was on very heavy ground and he's run poorly at Wexford subsequently. Monocle finished a long way in front of him in that latter contest and Dermot Weld's grey is an obvious threat to all having only been headed in the closing stages of that 1m3f event. He'll make a bold bid again but this looks destined for Ballydoyle via ARYA TARA. The daughter of Dylan Thomas hadn't shown much in her opening runs before a much-improved effort over an extended 1m1f at Wexford where she was staying on very strongly at the finish. Pension Madness finished last on his introduction on fast ground at Navan but will soon be leaving that form behind.
