Verdict

Chartani won this last year when the handicapper overreacted and gave her a 15lbs rise. She's gradually come down the weights and is not out of this with just 5lbs extra. Carleton Place, who finished 12l back in third a year ago, looks held. Good Decision gained her first-ever success when reverting to hurdles at Naas and her form over fences is moderate. Winning point-to-pointer LOCH NA BEASTE showed improved form on his fourth start over regulation fences when a close third at Wexford and a repeat would make him difficult to beat in an ordinary contest.
