Verdict

Mister Chow, a stayer on the all-weather last year, made a satisfactory hurdling debut when chasing home a previous winner at Sandown and holds Echo Watt on that run. He looks the danger to NIGHT OF GLORY, denied a run at Exeter yesterday where he would have been a short-priced favourite. Andrew Balding does well with the few runners he has over hurdles and the son of Sea The Stars has won over 1m4f at Kempton since finishing third behind a couple of useful juveniles at Sandown. Falcon Sun had excuses at Wetherby after finishing second on debut but may benefit from a step up in trip. Marettimo looks thoroughly exposed but Fields Of Fortune was in the process of running a fair race when unseating his rider at the last here in November and could figure with a clear round.
