Verdict

The market may be the best guide to the second division of this maiden bumper with several unknown quantities lining up. Dark Force and Mance Rayder represent powerful NH stables and appeal more than Mahlermade. Bomber's Moon has a speedier pedigree than most so goes on the short-list. Paddy's Poem and Call Claude have experience on their side but WHOSHOTWHO is fancied to make a winning return from an absence as the Kempton race in which he finished third in February last year produced a host of subsequent winners.
