        Verdict

        HADLEY has only won one of his 26 starts but has run a couple of cracking races in defeat this year so has hopefully turned a corner. He makes more appeal than Roy's Legacy, who may find 6f on easy going testing his stamina. Little Miss Lola showed improved form on Tapeta at the end of last year but is 0-8 on Turf and encounters soft going for the first time. Compton River didn’t win last year but has eased in the weights as a result, though is another for whom the ground would be a worry.
