In depth

Verdict

The former Ballydoyle inmate Sligo has failed to reach a place in any of his 10 career starts including four over timber and it would take a leap of faith to fancy him here. Raggletagglegypsy ran very well in several bumpers and attracted support on his hurdling debut at Navan but hardly picked his feet up and was beaten a distance. Glenstar is not making his hurdling debut out of turn having had plenty of experience in bumpers and point-to-points. His latest run behind subsequent winner Mount Belbulben points to his chances if taking to these obstacles and he looks the main threat to CATCH THE MOMENT. Denis Cullen's mare showed nothing on her bumper debut despite being well backed but made an encouraging start over timber behind Luddsdenene at Punchestown and the allowance will aid her cause.
