    Verdict

Focail Maith has had plenty of chances but Verano shaped nicely on his hurdling debut at Doncaster while Benbecula was only beaten three lengths over course and distance on his penultimate start before finding handicap company too tough on a return visit. FAIR DREAMER won his bumper here in December and was quite highly tried on his hurdles bow in a race at Doncaster won by a novice that went on to be placed at the Cheltenham Festival. He'll know more today so gets the nod.
