    Verdict

Sharp Jack get the vote here with Ironside, Nacadour and Meggie's Beau others to consider. Sharp Jack never travelled last time at Bangor in a contest run on bottomless ground. The drop back in trip should not be too much of an inconvenience and while a worry would be the quicker conditions on a sharp track, he will be staying on when others have cried enough. Nacadour has a stiff task under top weight but he is one of the lesser exposed in the field. It was disappointing though that he was well beaten by a rival that he had encountered previously at Exeter. A tongue tie is applied for the first time today along with the reapplied blinkers. Ironside returned to form with a second behind Petite Margot at Wincanton recently. He has a preference for softer conditions while he did run in snatches last time, appearing to get outpaced when the taps were turned on. Meggie's Beau has dropped down the ratings and has not had the busiest of seasons as a result of injury. While he is a veteran, he could go well at a price and reward those seeking some value. Sharp Jack is a tentitive selection in what is an open contest.
