Verdict

Master Role could provide the answer here, with Call Me Sunshine possibly representing his biggest danger. The selection makes his British debut for Michael Jarvis after showing fair maiden form in Ireland last season. Even though he is untried on the fibresand, this is a modest event overall and he really ought to run well. Call Me Sunshine was only just touched off over 10 furlongs last time at Leicester when racing in cheekpieces for the first time. She too should, once again, run well, even though the cheekpieces are now removed. Of the others, Albee was well beaten on his debut but is now fitted with cheekpieces. Marino Mou was even further behind in the same race, and the pair of them have a lot to find with Pacific Ocean based on that form. The latter has been knocking at the door in maidens and, even though his form works out as modest, he might be able to bag some money in, as we say, a modest event, although he could be fighting for a minor berth with Taiyo, who, if lacking a little in pace, ran well enough over a mile at Lingfield last time to suggest she can be placed. On breeding, though, a mile might prove to be this one's trip. Overall, though, we return to Master Role, who looks set to play a leading part in this maiden.
