      Verdict

The Tatling still retains enough ability to be placed despite his age and Cavitie's recent improvement entitles him to consideration. Lily Wood finished fourth in a similar race over C&D on her penultimate start but she has a bit to find here with the winner LETHAL. The latter just got the better of the re-opposing Metropolitan Chief on that occasion and has his winning partner back on board today. Fiancee has a chance with Chris Martin on board and Miss Firefly makes most appeal of the remainder.
