In depth

Verdict

True Satire was runner-up in a weak-looking maiden at Redcar on her debut when beaten by a horse winning for the first time in 18 starts and HAAMAAT makes more appeal. The front three were ahead of the rest when she was third at Leicester last month and the 110,000gns Shamardal filly is expected to improve for that experience. Les Verguettes looked a surefire future winner on last year's form but has disappointed so far this season, while the remainder have plenty of catching up to do with Da'Quonde possibly the best of those.
