In depth

Verdict

Confidentiality, Red Blossom and Lobengula are all in winning form and Confidentiality is the selection to continue in that vein. Lobengula looks set to take them along at a good pace, and he has won his last three starts over this course and distance. He was ridden out to score last time, and is now 24 pounds higher than when starting his winning run. He may have to settle for a place. Red Blossom is bred in the purple and lost her maiden tag at the eleventh attempt with an emphatic win over this course and distance on Monday. She will have gained confidence from that win but is up against some proven performers in this better affair. Confidentiality has run up a five timer and won on the bit here last time, his third successive course and distance victory. He is nine pounds higher, but he was particularly impressive last time and can come off the pace that Lobengula will set to lead in the closing stages and take this.
