Verdict

A very low grade handicap where the betting may provide some pointers, especially with two Irish raiders engaged. Of those, Balmont Belle may prove a decent each-way punt as she's unlikely to be heading here after such a long absence without some confidence behind her. OUTLAW TORN has a wonderful record for a moderate performer having won 15 of his 139 starts. He loves it around here and is only a couple of pounds higher than his victory last month so looks the safest option. Powered is a consistent performer at this level but is yet to win in 21 starts while Frap was behind the selection last time and is yet to reach the frame in eight starts on the all-weather. John Caesar may prove best of the remainder.
