Verdict

Hardly the ideal race for punting purposes and the standard is evident with My Viking Bay, whose only success arrived in a Towcester seller, heading the weights. He actually stayed on quite well last time in a four-runner handicap at the Northamptonshire track in a contest that is hard to assess accurately and should be involved at this modest level. However, IRONICAL showed some useful form here last time when second to Themanfromfraam for Shaun Lycett, who has a decent record at this venue over the past five years, and he can go one better here. Speedy Directa has a fair strike rate in modest handicap company and can also go close.
