ESCARDO came good with an improved effort nine days ago when running out a comfortable Newton Abbot winner and can supplement gains under similar conditions despite a 7lb penalty. He's suited by a good pace which seems inevitable with confirmed trailblazer My Condor on duty. The Grey One uncharacteristically unseated early on at Southwell last time but Milton Bradley's gelding is normally a consistent and safe conveyance well suited by 2m on good ground, having scored under such conditions on his penultimate outing at Hereford.
