Thousand Miles showed improved form after an encouraging debut effort as a juvenile when chasing home Alanbrooke in a Nottingham maiden when last seen in October and Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt has to be considered but preference is for KLOOF, who gets the vote with Maverin rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was not given a hard ride by Robert Havlin on his debut in a Lingfield maiden last month. He should benefit from that introduction and the former Godolphin-owned colt can open his account for the in-from John Gosden. Michael Bell's Advisor is bred to be useful and showed promise in both starts at two but he may not be suited by the faster ground today and looks best watched on his first attempt on ground this quick. Walter Swinburn's Mr Greeley colt Fortina's Boy faces no easy task on his debut and of more interest may be the Michael Jarvis-trained Putra One, who may do better this season having been well held in both starts as a juvenile. Jeremy Noseda's Maverin ran better than was expected on his debut as a two-year-old in a Doncaster maiden and he has to be considered with the yard's runners in good form but Kloof caught the eye on his debut at Lingfield and is taken to open his account today.
