In depth

Verdict

An interesting little maiden which probably lies between Imperial Harry, Silent Applause, Chalentina and Madame Medusa and Imperial Harry gets the nod. Mick Channon's colt has shown some ability in three starts this campaign at both this trip and a mile. Fast ground suits, and this 7f may be his optimum for the time being given that they will go quicker than over a mile where he keeps ruining his chance by pulling too hard. Silent Applause certainly looked on the upgrade when runner up in a Newmarket maiden last time and is a serious threat, Chalentina has been going well in slightly lesser company but needs to improve to take this, while Madame Medusa does not look to be the most genuine performer ever and until we see her look ready to go on and take a race we will look elsewhere. All that leads us back to Imperial Harry who is taken to score.
