Verdict

The Oaks favourite Passage Of Time can win her on her prep-outing at the expense of Short Hand and Sues Surprise. Henry Cecil has his team of horses in good form this season and the selection was seen to good effect at Newmarket in Listed company on her final two year old start where she had Sues Surprise beaten by five lengths. That suggests the placings cannot be reversed and a step up in trip will not pose a problem for this classy looking filly. She will be a short-priced favourite but if putting her best foot forward she should have little worry in winning on her seasonal reappearence. Short Hand ran well to finish fourth of fourteen in the Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket last season. She will again improve with another year on her back and, with the Stoute horses in good form, she again will win her races this year so is worth noting. But for the winner we return to Passage Of Time who looks set for a bright future.
