Verdict

David Pipe: "He always promised to be a nice horse. He is not the most fluent or natural jumpers, he has his own way of getting over hurdles and liked the soft ground. I am more inclined to stay at this trip or step him up, he wasn't obviously short of pace in the race today, they went a fair clip and we didn't have an easy lead as Minella Present was always just having a go and he did it the hard way. He was at the right end of the weights and the rain came for us last night. Hopefully he will jump fences better than hurdles."
