The Sunday Supplement panel discuss what next for Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard

The Sunday Supplement panel discussed the futures of former England internationals Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.

Gerrard and Lampard have left LA Galaxy and New York City FC respectively following the expiration of their MLS contracts.

The former has been offered the MK Dons job as he ponders a move into management, while Lampard has also been reportedly linked with coaching roles.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte refused to address speculation Lampard could be offered a role at Stamford Bridge when speaking ahead of the Blues' meeting with Middlesbrough on Super Sunday.

"Frank Lampard has been a great player, a fantastic player for Chelsea," Conte said when asked by reporters. "He won a lot with this team.

"But now for me he's still playing and for this reason I don't know his future. I repeat: he has been a fantastic player, a legend for this club. I have great respect for him.

"For me it's very difficult to reply to the question when the question starts 'if'. It's important to know."

The Supplement panel agreed the duo must choose their first jobs wisely if they decide to manage, with a future in punditry also likely to be another option.
