Mark Sampson has been sacked from his role as England Women's head coach with immediate effect.
Sampson has been at the centre of discrimination allegations made by Chelsea Ladies and England striker Eniola Aluko, which he vehemently denies.
The 34-year-old was cleared by an internal Football Association review and an independent investigation led by barrister Katharine Newton QC.
However, after the full details of an investigation into safeguarding allegations made against Sampson during his time at Bristol Academy were brought to the FA's attention, he was relieved of his duties.

July 4, 2015 - Fara Williams' penalty in extra-time seals a 1-0 victory over Germany in the third-place play-off as England record their best-ever finish at a Women's World Cup finals.
September 21, 2015 - England kick-off their qualification campaign for the 2017 European Championships with an 8-0 victory over Estonia in Tallinn.
October 2015 - Seven months later, the FA panel inform Sampson he has been cleared to continue working in football and in his role as England head coach.
May 2016 - FA technical director Dan Ashworth invites Aluko to participate in cultural review of all England teams.
September 20, 2016 - A 2-0 victory over Belgium sees England finish top of their Euro 2017 qualification group.
December 2016 - Barrister Katherine Newton leads independent investigation, during which Aluko claims Sampson made a "highly inappropriate remark" with "derogatory, racial and prejudicial connotations" to an unnamed, mixed race player, where he asked how many times she had been arrested.
March 2017 - Sampson and his staff are cleared of wrongdoing by the independent investigation, but Aluko is paid £80,000 in a confidentiality agreement, which, at a later date, the FA insist was to avoid disruption to England's Euro 2017 campaign.
April 3, 2017 - Aluko accuses Sampson of favouritism after being omitted from England's squad for the forthcoming tournament.
August 3, 2017 - England crash out of the European Championships in the semi-finals after a 3-0 defeat to hosts Netherlands in Enschede.
August 7, 2017 - Allegations made by Aluko are leaked and surface in national newspapers.
August 8, 2017 - Aluko confirms receipt of settlement with the FA after lodging a complaint and claims she has not quit the England team, despite not being selected in over a year.
August 16, 2017 - More details are revealed regarding the context of Aluko's allegations, including accusations that comments of a racial nature were made.
August 17, 2017 - A summary of the independent report released by the FA, and including a letter to Aluko from barrister Newton, stresses the investigation "did not uphold any of Aluko's complaints and found no wrong-doing on behalf of the FA or others".
August 18, 2017 - Sampson welcomes the investigation's findings and vows to improve his communication style going forward.
August 21, 2017 - In an interview with the BBC, Aluko accuses Sampson of making a racist remark to her before an England game. After revealing to Sampson she had relatives from Nigeria coming to watch the match, Aluko claims Sampson responded: "Well make sure they don't come over with Ebola."
August 22, 2017 - With the FA maintaining their support of Sampson, the Professional Footballers' Association calls for an "open, transparent and independent investigation" into the handling of Aluko's complaint.
September 5, 2017 - Speaking publically for the first time about the allegations, Sampson insists his conscience is clear.
September 11, 2017 - Senior executives at the FA are informed they will face a parliamentary inquiry over their investigations into Sampson's alleged "bullying and harassment" of Aluko.
September 12, 2017 - Sampson says he cannot recall ever having a conversation about Ebola with Aluko, appearing to contradict evidence he gave to the inquiry earlier.
