West Bromwich Albion could make moves for Victor Moses, Matt Phillips and Charlie Austin if Saido Berahino leaves the club, Sky sources understand.

The Baggies could potentially be one of the busiest clubs in the next 24 hours, but much depends on where Berahino will be playing his football after Tuesday's 6pm transfer deadline.

The 22-year-old forward has been the subject of two rejected bids from Tottenham and has also had his written transfer request turned down by West Brom.

It is not yet known whether Spurs will return with a third offer for Berahino, who has been left out of the match-day squads for the past three games against Chelsea, Port Vale and Stoke by manager Tony Pulis.

If Berahino does leave the club, Sky sources understand West Brom would be interested in bringing Moses, Phillips and Austin to the Hawthorns.

A move for Chelsea winger Moses, however, looks unlikely with the Nigeria international understood to be closing in on a loan switch to West Ham, according to Sky sources.

Winger Phillips and forward Austin have both started the new season in the Championship with Queens Park Rangers and have played in all five of the club's league matches.

QPR director of football Les Ferdinand has put a £15m asking price on Austin, who has only a year left on his contract at Loftus Road.

One player who is close to joining West Brom is goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard

The Denmark international will undergo a medical with the club on Monday ahead of a free transfer, according to Sky sources.
