Reading defender Sean Long has joined Sky Bet League 2 side Luton on a one-month loan.
Irishman Long, who played twice for his country in their European Under-21 Championship qualifiers over the international weekend, has made one senior appearance for the Royals as a substitute in the Capital One Cup at Scunthorpe last season.
The 20-year-old could make his Hatters debut at Crawley on Saturday.
The Royals have also loaned youngster Noor Husin to non-league Hemel Hempstead, while centre-half Rob Dickie extended his loan at Cheltenham by another month.
