Notts County have signed defender Richard Duffy on a one-year contract.
Duffy had agreed a deal with non-league side Eastleigh but has instead moved to Meadow Lane to play for Sky Bet League Two side County.
The 30-year-old former Wales international left Port Vale at the end of the season, rejecting a new contract, after spending four years with the club.
Speaking to Notts County's official website he said: "When they gave me a call and said would you want to come, there was only one answer really.
"I hope to bring a bit of experience and leadership."
