Peterborough have re-signed former striker Paul Taylor on a one-year contract.

Taylor first played for Posh in 2011 and went on to make 53 appearances, scoring 14 goals before moving to Ipswich for £1.5million in August 2012.

He also returned on loan at Peterborough during the 2013/2014 season where he made seven appearances in all competitions.

Manager Grant McCann told the club's official website: "It is a great signing for us. A fit Paul Taylor is one of the best players in this league, if not beyond, so we are hopefully going to get him fit."
