It has been suggested that the Reds are keen to sign the left-back as Jurgen Klopp remains unconvinced by Alberto Moreno.
Mario's agent, Kia Joorabchian, told Portuguese newspaper Record recently: "Sporting have received four proposals. Inter Milan and Liverpool, certainly, with values between €35 and €40 million, plus bonuses.
"Sporting refused all offers. So from now on, we are discussing a new contract or sale."
Mario caught the eye with his performances during Euro 2016, helping Portugal win the trophy. Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the midfielder.
3. Jetro Willems (PSV) - 2.1
The 22-year-old Netherlands international is a former team-mate of Liverpool's newest signing, Georginio Wijnaldum and his Football Whispers ranking is still strong.
