Rangers have signed former Arsenal centre-back Philippe Senderos on a one-year deal.
The 31-year-old Switzerland international has been training with the Ibrox club for the past couple of weeks and has now joined the Scottish Premiership giants.
Senderos made his name with the Gunners, and also enjoyed a lengthy spell with Fulham.
He joined Aston Villa on a free transfer in the summer of 2014, spending 18 months in the Midlands before moving on to Grasshoppers in his native Switzerland.
