Portsmouth have signed Preston striker Eoin Doyle on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has scored three goals in 15 appearances in all competitions this season but has failed to cement a regular place in the starting line-up.
Doyle will link up with Paul Cook for the third time in his career with the duo first working together at Irish club Sligo Rovers before Cook took him to Chesterfield in 2013.
The Pompey manager told the club's official website: "Having worked with Eoin previously at two clubs, I am delighted with this signing.
"He knows what I want as a manager and I know that I can rely on him to give 100 per cent on the pitch.
"Eoin brings commitment and quality to our side and I'm sure he'll be popular with all our supporters.
"We're extremely pleased with his signing and are very grateful to Preston for loaning him to us."
