Leeds United have confirmed the loan capture of Swansea City winger Modou Barrow until the end of the season.

Barrow, 24, who has five international caps for Gambia, reunites with former Swansea manager Garry Monk in making the move to Elland Road.

Monk signed Barrow for Swansea from Swedish club Ostersunds FK in 2014 for a fee of £1.5m, and the winger has since gone on to make 51 appearances for the Swans, scoring twice.

The switch to Leeds is his third loan move, having spent part of the 2014/15 season on loan at Nottingham Forest, and the opening three months of the 2015/16 on loan at Blackburn Rovers.

Barrow is Leeds' second deadline-day signing after the arrival of Villarreal forward Alfonso Pedraza, with both players in the frame to make their home debuts against Cardiff City on February 11.
