Coventry have signed Sutton United's FA Cup hero Maxime Biamou for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the Sky Bet League Two side, which is subject to a medical.

Biamou scored three goals in Sutton's memorable run to the FA Cup fifth round last season, and started in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins told his club's official website: "I'm delighted to welcome Maxime to Coventry City, having beaten a number of other clubs at our level to his signature.
